Pangasinan, Hundred Islands

We came to this place somewhere in April 2008 and I think it needs more improvement to promote its tourism. The Hundred Island National Park is located in Alaminos City in the province of Pangasinan. The islands which counts to 124 during low tide and 123 at high tide are believed to be over 2 million years old.

We only saw three islands that have been developed for tourism and one in which we went is the Quezon Island. The beach is a white sand, not so fine, and the water is so salty. No wonder Pangasinan is famous for its salt production industry.

Things to do is swimming, family picnic, kayaking and boating.

This very site needs a huge rehabilitation to make it more tourist attractive..

We only stayed for the day, since the island is up only until the sunset. Then we head up to Baguio City for some shopping spree.

Happy Trip!
