Enchanted Kingdom

The trip from Binan, Laguna to Sta.Rosa took us a struggling 4 hours of slow moving traffic! We were all so tired and sleepy when we reached the theme park at 7pm but since we were here, we bought entrance tickets each and had an evening stroll instead to the park adorned with bright lights and Christmas spirits filled the whole place.

to the entrance

amazing new ride
I love bright lights and Christmases!!
tired and wacky!

a huge ferris wheel : )
Pupil had a concert that very night..nice!
this was the scariest ride I've ever seen!
the theater inside the park..night's show was Happy Feet
I wish we had an apartment like this that looks so Christmas and magical! : )

we rode the carousel..the complimentary ride in our tickets hahaha!
and there was a fireworks show as the park's culmination activity..

And so we finally call it a day! Upon exiting the park, we found a number of shuttle services lining at the parking lot. We took the van bound to Glorietta (P100 each) and slept throughout the ride. It was an exhausting day but we really had a fun bonding weekend as siblings..we regret not to have mom and dad and our two little brothers (who were in Bicol at the moment) as company, but we promised to come back again and make a Christmas family bonding here soon!

Happy Trip!

Weekend with a Splash

Brother bought 6 50%-off promo vouchers from Metrodeal for an unlimited day pass to Splash Island and so we went one sunny Saturday from Manila all the way to Binan, Laguna. Riding a provincial bus bound to Pacita Complex in Shaw Blvd front of Starmall EDSA, it took us almost 2 hours to reach Jollibee Pacita at 8am, had breakfast and contracted a tricycle to Splash Island for 20pesos each (a total of P120 one way for 6 pax ).

Breakfast stop at Jollibee Pacita Complex at 8am, Splash Island opens at 9am

At the entrance, most guests checking in have promo vouchers too!
Photo shot immediately upon entering the resort.

We just rented 3 lockers for 100php each enough to secure our valuables while we roam around the resort.

No wasting of time, changed into light attires and ready to conquer the pools and slides!

Starting with the Balsa River..there were a number of life buoys littering around and we got one each. The life buoys are alternative to balsa to float around the man-made river, the water-level of which, is actually waist-length..a place just for kids, but we tried it though haha! : )

Under the heat of the sun..this makes it a lot of fun..
Next slide..the Big Bam Boo
   Going down...
and here's the splash..!
Awesome slide!

There are an array of restaurants and stalls inside the resort and sorts of food to choose from, we opted some nachos for a light snacks..

Heading on to Dos Supremos..a little bit the same with the Big Bam Boo except the slides are now covered..it's like going through a big dark tube..until you reach the pool.

SPLASH!!!

OMG!! that was a scary slide!

And we still can't get over!...trying the bigger slide this time--the Rio Montanosa. Here, two to three people will ride on a huge life buoy that will go all the way down a wide open slide!
OMG..we're sliding down and I was facing against the gravity!! I was getting so eccentric!!

That was fun though!: )

Roaming around looking for more slides to try..

And we found this rather peculiar slide..the Magellan's Drop. It looks scary coz of its scary height and just looking at it makes me feel a lot more dizzy and seems one may accidentally slide out of its place. Seeing many guests lining up above over and over again, we decided to make it a challenging try..!

It's a different feeling up there..! When you see how high you are about to drop below makes you wanna cease back and never try it at all..haha! And the fears were conquered by sliding down and down and down...

curious, coward spectators watching people dropping the huge slide

Along the gates, we saw these two cute little kids in their school uniforms talking with each other..

We also swam in the Agos Grandes..a very huge pool that has great waves coming at a random every 30 minutes
We were almost done with all the slides..so to spend the wee hours remaining, we drop by Water Wahoo and played with kids haha!

Checking out at 3pm, we have much time to go to our next destination..the Enchanted Kingdom at Sta. Rosa, Laguna

We went back by tricycle to Pacita Complex, then rode another PUJ to Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

Happy Trip!
