BAGUIO CITY
Sad reality but we have to bid goodbye to the precious town of Sagada that very early Sunday morning to catch the first bus to Baguio at 5am for a chance to see the Panagbenga Feast parade at 10am.
Last snapshot inside our room in Canaway..
leaving the resthouse..
walking to the bus bound to Baguio pick up station
we failed to catch the first trip, instead we took the second trip at 5:30am, not bad.
Since the parade was already through when we arrived, we instead splurge to eating a sumptuous lunch, in a local restaurant.
the busy vendors at strawberry farm, La Trinidad Benguet
and my pretty lads eating strawberries
Bell Church
It's my 5th time in Baguio but it's my first time to try these Igorot costumes..I think it looked good on me, what yah think?;=)
The Mansion, the President's residence in the city
Come late afternoon and there's nowhere to standby due to the overwhelming crowd of Baguio's Panagbenga, we opted to go straight to the Victory Liner terminal and wait for our trip home. When we say crowd..there's no way we can enter the terminal's lobby due to the number of passengers inside! So we ate our food on the streets outside, nobody cares anyway it's a free country..then later we saw other passengers doing the same way we did hahah! this is a lot of fun..only in the Philippines: )
Manila here we come..back to work to save a lot of penny for another escapade!
Happy Trip!
