Day 1: Genting Highlands and KLCC Petronas Twin Tower
Going back to KL Sentral as early as 9am on our second day (thru LRT from Pasar Seni), we bought the Golden Genting Package at RM56 each (at the lower platform where the bus to Genting is also waiting) which includes two-way Bus transfer, two-way Cable Car (Skyway) and unlimited one-day pass to the outdoor theme park.

Unlike in HK where they have the 360degrees cable car to Ngong Ping Village, the Skyway to Genting is a one-of-a-kind experience! It's like having the awesome-st ride with a combination of exhilarating view of the mountains and the fog and the resort above while getting all the tension of gravity below and the squeaking cables above your cabin. We luckily got a private cabin for just the two of us that makes shooting photos very convenient and exciting.
Arrival area at the resort will get you through various shops, boutiques then casinos..
We got to walk through the Star Kasturi before going to the Outdoor Theme Park...
Hubby got hungry along the way and so we took our lunch at the famous Mary Brown
and hubby super loved the combo meal which includes chicken rice,
2-piece chicken, nuts and vegetables, fries and chili sauce.
To say that this place gets cold in the afternoon is an understatement. It really is very very chilly come afternoon and it also rained during our visit in December 2nd week. We didn't able to try the outdoor rides because of the intermittent raindrops, misty and foggy surroundings.
At about 3 in the afternoon we decided to take the bus ride back to KL Sentral for our Petronas evening date. Alighting at KL Sentral, we rode LRT to KLCC Station then walk the long line to KLCC Suria.
Amazing how the place hadn't changed since I last visited in 2008; there's still the dancing water fountain, street entertainers and the majestic twin towers who never failed to captivate my senses.
We waited til the sun set to see the Petronas charm at night afterwards we had dinner and head back to our hostel to have an early rest. End of day 1
